Panshanger Golf Club formed in 1976 along side Panshanger Golf Complex which was built in 1975. The complex is located in Welwyn Garden City and within easy reach of London and the M25. As one of the UK's most highly regarded public golf courses, Panshanger Golf Complex is home of a top-class 18 hole, par 72 Championship course with stunning views over Hertfordshire's Mimram Valley. The club is fully affiliated to England Golf and Hertfordshire Golf so members can obtain an official WHS handicap. Competitions are organised on a regular basis with the different sections playing on different days.
This year, 2023, the club won the Clapham Common Shield for the first time in 30 years and also won the Herts Friendly League
